The Stolen Lands

The Stolen Lands encompass an area of about 35,000 square miles and is roughly separated into four regions: The Greenbelt, The Nomen Heights, The Slough, and the Glenebon Uplands.

Movement and Exploration

  • The Greenbelt: The Greenbelt is a haven for bantits and brigands, protected by the tangled Narlmarches to the west and the rugged Kameland hills to the east. It holds indigenous creatures more dangerous than a kobold, and is thus one of the safest regions for ‘freelance banditry’. Rumors hold that a powerful bandit known as the ‘Stag Lord’ has risen to unite and lead the region’s brigands. To the south, tribes of trolls and worse provide an effective buffer between Brevoy and Mivon
  • The Nomen Heights: Constrained to the south by the Tors of Levenies, the Nomen Heights is home to the tribes of the Nomen Centaurs, aggressive people who view the eastern steppes of the region as their own. Ancient ruins dot the Tors.
  • The Slough: East of the Glenebon Uplands, the hills and rolling grasslands give way to a reeking swampland known as the Hooktongue Slough. Inhabited by lizardfolk, boggards, and even stranger things, this has been a long-time battlefield between the Tiger Lord Barbarians and the denizens of the swamp.
  • The Glenbone Uplands: The westernmost region of the Stolen Lands, this area is hotly contested by the Tiger Lord barbarians to the north and the Pitax bandits to the south. Rumors of a large fey presence here and in the Branthlend Mountains and Forest of a Thousand Voices abound.
